UNDERSTAND

March 29, 2019 by San Quentin News Contributor

13 Bars to the cell,

three walls form my own hell,

one life of drugs and evil doing,

four years of my life

I earned this strike and must pay the prices

No more drugs Now I’m clean

what a fool I was to loose my dream

with open eyes I can see again

it’s time to be who I really am.

Time to grow up, time to be a man

San Quentin Thanks I understand!
