Where is it written,
That silence is permission,
That the invisible
Must stay hidden,
We suffer cruel,
And criminal conditions,
Denied And
Rubber Stamped petitions,
Must I die to
Earn your attention,
Were lost & found
But still missing,
A sisterhood of victims
And wounded peers,
Can’t breath
Imprisoned by fear,
Soaked
In my sisters tears,
Her pleas
Fall on deaf ears,
She punished twice
For being here,
“Their”
Position is clear,
We are Statistics
More & more eah year,
See they
Still don’t hear
Lies about the truth
Hope is a chore,
Abused
Behind prison doors
We cry out
Together “Please no more”
Spirits battered
Bodies sore,
Just a tear drop
On a cell floor,
The apple of my eye
Bruised to the core.
Shrink deeper
Within myself,
I waited
And waited for help,
Sorrows
We couldn’t communicate,
When hel Comes too late,
We suicide
As a means of escape.
From depression,
Isolation & rape,
We withdraw to cope
A 6002
Always from hope,
I was one-who said
“No, nor me nope,”
Alone & Defenseless
Went the way of the rope.
