LOST AND FOUND LOVE

March 5, 2019 by San Quentin News Contributor

#1 LOST AND FOUND LOVE

I would write and tell her I love them

With card’s and drawling of love and falerry

Too wait for the mail that never showed up.

My heart’s grown cold and lost that pitter patter.

It’s been so long since I’ve gotten mail from home it dosen’t matter.

I would tell her I love them a million times.

But after lying about not coming to prison again.

She finally found some body better.

FINALLY GOING HOME

Prosecuted by the law I am for over know

Look around this cell with no answer I guess that no body home.

All this time in prison my wife and Kids are not only one’s that are done.

I try to stay positive and read scriptures so my mind and soul do not roam.

I send letter after letter with no reply. I guess that no body is home.

That feel forgotten and alone. Can’t wait for sleep tonight so I can dream.

That I am finally going home,`
