unknown) painted this 1997
portrait of a young Black woman, the
personification of quiet reality.
John Sklut’s 2008 winterbird masterpiece
is a study in serenity and just one
among many examples of his passion and
skill in capturing winged wonders

Omid Mokri is an artistic phenomenon
whose art was featured on the
cover of Wall City magazine’s second
Spanish edition. His portrait of Bob Marley
captures the singer’s light and laughter
Chad Tobias’ photo-like and incredibly
realistic pencil portrait of a beautiful
young woman brought color only to her eyes.
Kit Paepule’s not-quite-watercolors were
actually composed with stains created by
adding water to powdered flavored drink mixes.

picture of Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z and MC
Lite brings the award-winning artists to life.
