It’s been an honor to communicate with you through our patient newsletter, “The Informed Patient: A San Quentin Newsletter” for the past 21 months. You have submitted thought-provoking and timely comments and questions, and we have appreciated your feedback letting us know what we’ve done right and where we could improve. We have temporarily lost our printing resources and therefore won’t be able to provide a formal newsletter to you again until we go live with the tablet program this fall. Until then, the San Quentin News has very generously offered to provide us space to share important communications. We don’t take this honor lightly, and will utilize this space only to share time-sensitive or otherwise crucial information.
You can still communicate with “The Informed Patient” by sending your letters in U-Save envelopes to the Warden’s Office addressed to The Informed Patient: A San Quentin Newsletter. Depending upon the urgency and applicability to all residents, we will either respond through the San Quentin News or hold the response for the tablet communications.
Thank you for your readership and support over the past two years.
